Tips
- Start small when clearing clutter from your house; start room by room
- Only two kinds of objects should be kept: (1)objects that are used, and (2)objects which are kept as momentos
- Sort through your clothing, accessories, books, etc. at least once a year; deciding whether it is useful or useless
- Invest in a paper-shredder; it keeps your countertop and desktop clutter-free; all unnecessary paper can be eliminated instantly; no more "stacks" to worry about
- Store possessions near the place where they are most often used
- Always decide where a new possession will be stored as soon as you bring it into the house
- Label items: storage boxes, pantry items
